Leopard's Leap
Situated in Vredendal, Leopard's Leap is an exciting range of South African wines that was created by three historic French Huguenot wine farms of Franschhoek valley in 2000. These three estates are symbolized by the distinctive three golden leopards on its label. The three founding estates, owned by the influential Rupert family, have also invested extensively in other grape growing areas such as Darling, on the West Coast, and the Botriver, close to Hermanus on the South Coast. With such natural assets and modern winemaking facilities at their disposal, plus an intimate understanding of the power of brands in the international marketplace, Leopard's Leap was created, a South African brand that has already shown its huge international potential. |

Due to the cool growing conditions, the natural flavours and acid balance allow minimalist winemaking, capturing expressive flavours of gooseberry, apricot and pear, with a deliciously rich and fresh mouth feel.
